Matt Asiata scores twice, Minnesota Vikings lead Atlanta Falcons 14-7 (Videos)

After the Minnesota Vikings deactivated Adrian Peterson because of his child abuse case, there was a lot of speculation about who would tote the rock for a team that is really lacking at quarterback.

It turned out to be Matt Asiata.

With rookie first round pick Teddy Bridgewater taking over at quarterback, that running game becomes even more important. Thus far in the Vikings’ game with the Atlanta Falcons Sunday, Asiata is getting the job done.

He has only 25 yards on six carries but has scored on runs of three and six to give the Vikings a 14-7 lead.
