Saturday Night Live adds crimes to NFL player introductions (Video)

To hear it from NFL players, they might urge fans to take the criminal activity from a select few guys as the exception rather than the rule. They would remind us that most guys in the NFL are actually good guys, and it’s not fair for the players who get in trouble to represent the entire league.

Well, it might not be fair, but it’s hard to ignore the problems that the NFL are having with off-the-field behavior right now. It’s not even necessarily a matter of a perception that every single player gets in trouble. It is more the fact that the NFL continues to be inconsistent and laughably incompetent in disciplining players for those actions.
Understanding that it is the actions of the league that are just as problematic as they continue to under-react to any discipline issues that aren’t related to marijuana, we turn our attention to the Saturday Night Live season premiere this weekend. Not surprisingly, the SNL crew took aim at the NFL in one of their sketches.
Making fun of the player introductions one might find on Sunday night football, SNL had NFL players introducing themselves by crimes they have committed instead of the college they attended.
