Evans was on his way to his biggest game of his NFL career with four catches for 65 yards and a touchdown from Mike Glennon, but his absence looms large for a team dealing with injuries on both sides of the ball.
The worst part of this injury is that it could be a multi-week injury that keeps the No. 7 overall pick out of the lineup for an extended period.
His breakout game was interrupted and now his season is put on hold as the team awaits the severity of the injury.
