Trent Richardson barrels in for TD, gives Colts 7-0 lead (Video)
By Josh Hill
The Indianapolis Colts are surprisingly sluggish out of the gate this season, and that’s something that has a lot of fans worried. Andrew Luck seems to be playing fine, his receivers are catching the ball but something still isn’t working for them.

One area of the offense that the Colts would like to improve is in the running game, as Trent Richardson just hasn’t been able to do anything special so far in his tenure with the team. That’s starting to change though, as the more the Colts work the former Alabama running back into their system, the more he’s starting to get it.
That was the case on Sunday afternoon, as Richardson scored the first touchdown on the day for the Colts.
One ting the Colts need is for Richardson to start coming into his own as a featured back. It’s not all his fault that Richardson has struggled with the Colts as he’s had to learn a new system while also coming up in the downfall of the running back era.
Being a running back isn’t what is used to be even two years ago, and Richardson is having a hard time finding his footing in the NFL. Still, the Colts know they have a special back, and touchdowns like this one against the Titans give fans hope that Richardson can be the beast he was looking to be coming out of Alabama.
