How do you leave anyone that wide open, let alone a perennial Pro-Bowler like the Falcons Roddy White? Add blown assignments to a long rap sheet of Vikings problems.
Peterson’s replacement Matt Asiata has found the end zone twice against the Falcons defense so far though to put the Vikings up 14-7. How is that Bridgewater kid doing? Just fine, thank you. Teddy is a perfect 6-6 for 98 yards through the first quarter.
So for all of the issues that the Vikings seem to be having, they actually have a lead. Considering they are 0-2 since Peterson’s suspension, it is a welcome trend.
Also, the dawn of the Bridgewater era gives the team and it’s fans a welcome distraction from the Adrian Peterson situation. Will the Falcons be Bridgewater’s first victim? The way their defense is playing, it is entirely possible.
