Only 17 points were allowed to Drew Brees’ offense, but the Cowboys may have lost cornerback Morris Claiborne for the rest of the season. While still unconfirmed, Dallas’ young cornerback cold be looking at a serious knee injury following the win over the Saints last night.
According to Brandon George from the Dallas Morning News, the Cowboys fear Claiborne’s ACL is torn.

If Claiborne indeed has a torn ACL, then it would be a pretty big blow to the Cowboys future on defense — and just a blow on defense in general. Recently Claiborne made headlines in a bad way after he stormed out of the team facility following word he was being benched but he clearly was seeing action on Sunday night.
Dallas was already thin on defense thanks to injuries, and losing Claiborne for the season to a torn ACL would be yet another devastating blow.
