Charles looks explosive and is having an impact on the game. That has to be a welcome sight for the Chiefs after they had worried about losing Charles for multiple games. Those high ankle sprains can be a fickle beast, of course, but thankfully for the Chiefs it does not look like it will be a lingering issue for Charles. At least not for now.
After delivering on a short rushing touchdown in the first quarter, Charles found the end zone once again on this pass from quarterback Alex Smith.
It has been a slow start this season for a number of the top running backs in the NFL. In the case of Charles, that has been due to injury as much as anything else. If the Chiefs are going to make any noise this season, they will need more showings like this one from their best weapon on offense.
