It’s apparently a very tasty and popular wine as it was on the Wine Spectator 100 in it’s first year in 2008.
Well, now LeBron James wants some.
LeBron made a general tweet, not tagging Bledsoe or anything, just expecting Bledsoe to see it. He said he wants to try out Bledsoe’s wine and was hoping it shipped to Cleveland.
Hey Drew Bledsoe just saw your special with Rick Reilly. I wanna try your wine out as well. Looks great! Can u ship to Ohio?

According to Wine Spectator, Bledsoe’s wine brand, Doubleback, is supposed to reflect his journey from being a Walla Walla High School quarterback in Washington, to a successful NFL career with the New England Patriots, Buffalo Bills and Dallas Cowboys, and back to his hometown to begin a second career in the wine business. In 2003, Bledsoe purchased land in the Columbia Valley, planting Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Syrah and Petit Verdot and naming the vineyard Flying B (after his grandfather’s former cattle ranch in Ellensburg, Wash.). Here’s some funny stuff from ESPN’s Darren Rovell and more information about where to buy the wine:
Drew Bledsoe's wine sold out everywhere at $100 a bottle & LeBron is begging for it on Twitter? Seems like a solid business.

Drew Bledsoe's 2011 Doubleback Cabernet Sauvignon is selling on the winery's website. $89 a bottle, minimum of 3.

Shouldn’t be a problem for LeBron to afford this delectable wine. But like every other customer, he’s going to need to follow the rules and order it securely from doubleback.com.
