The Minnesota Vikings unloaded on the Atlanta Falcons in Week 4, finally seeing their Norv Turner-led offense show some of the promise many were banking on in the offseason. Thanks to quarterback Teddy Bridgewater’s sparkling debut as a starter in the NFL, the Vikings can finally start thinking about life with a dangerous offense.

“Man, that guy is a great player,” Vikings receiver Jairus Wright said per ESPN’s Ben Goessling, in regards to Bridgewater, “not only throwing the ball, but he made plays on his feet. Got first downs with his feet also, [and] made big plays with his feet. We just got to keep building on the performance we had today on offense.”
The Vikings potted 41 points against the Falcons with Bridgewater throwing for more than 300 yards while also making plays via the read option and a few big scrambles. The offense was stagnant in a 20-9 loss to the New Orleans Saints in Week 3, but with a week to prepare as the starter, Bridgewater gave Vikings fans a glimpse into what the future may look like for this offense.
“I think it sets the bar pretty high,” Bridgewater said. “I just have to continue to try to build off of the momentum that I have and not try to get besides myself or out of my character.”
