“For me, I just want to leave my mark,” Robinson told Christopher Dempsey of The Denver Post. “If I’m not here, I want to leave my mark where the fans are happy with everything that I’ve done.”
After the season, Robinson would like to continue his career in Denver.
“I believe so,” Robinson said when asked if he’d like to remain in Denver. “I’m too old to be moving around too much more. I don’t know if I have too many more years doing that. For me, I would love to stay here. I’ve taken a liking to Denver, it’s been fun. The city is great, the fans are great and this team is awesome. I would love to be here if they would love to have me.”
Robinson averaged 10.4 points, 2.5 assists, 1.8 rebounds and 0.8 steals in 19.7 minutes per game. He shot 42.8% from the field, 37.7% from beyond the arc and 83.5% from the free throw line. Robinson was selected with the 21st-overall pick in the first round of the 2005 draft by the Phoenix Suns, but was dealt to the New York Knicks. He has also played for the Boston Celtics, Oklahoma City Thunder and Golden State Warriors. In his career, he has averaged 11.4 points, 3.0 assists, 2.4 rebounds and 0.9 steals per game while shooting 42.7% from the floor, 36.4% from three and 80.0% from the charity stripe.
