New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick appeared to be at his jovial best Monday night after the Pats were hammered by the Kansas City Chiefs 41-14 at Arrowhead Stadium.
When asked whether or not the quarterback position will be evaluated following a two-interception performance by Tom Brady, Belichick’s face appeared to say it all:
Dare accepted!!! RT @AndrewRDeWitt: "Will the QB position be evaluated?" https://t.co/RImS9sqfV5

However, as evidenced by the tweet, Doug Gottlieb of CBS’s “Doug Gottlieb Show” (convenient, easy-to-remember name for him) is ready to take up the job.

Brady was … ummm … un-good on Monday night, completing 14-of-23 passes for 159 yards and a touchdown, with two interceptions and two fumbles. He was sacked twice and put the ball on the ground both times, losing one.
Brady has now completed 59.1 percent of his passes in four games for 791 yards and four touchdowns. The interceptions were his first of the season, but he has five fumbles in four games.
The Patriots are now in a three-way tie for the top spot in the AFC East at 2-2, along with the Buffalo Bills—who announced Monday they were changing quarterbacks—and the Miami Dolphins, whose coach won’t endorse a starting quarterback, even though he’s had the same one for 36 straight games.
Brady came out in the fourth quarter with the Pats trailing 41-7 and looked on as rookie Jimmy Garoppolo threw a 13-yard touchdown pass to Rob Gronkowski and went 6-for-7 for 70 yards in his first regular-season action.
Brady, 37, couldn’t even get past the 50,000-yard mark for his career Monday night. He came into the game needing just 219 yards to become just the sixth quarterback in NFL history to reach the milestone, just came up 60 yards short.
