Kevin Garnett is learning that entering his 20th NBA season he won’t get any type of special treatment. His coach entering what will likely be his final NBA season is Lionel Hollins. It’s been only three days into training camp and Garnett is already learning what Hollins is about.

Garnett is known as the Nets leader on and off of the court and as expected, Garnett is leading by example and even at age 38, Garnett never willingly sits out a drill. Hollins however did give Garnett a day off in today’s practice along with Deron Williams and Brook Lopez.

When Kevin Garnett was a rookie in Minnesota, he told coach Kevin McHale that he wants to be in the league for half of his life and McHale laughed at Garnett. Garnett lived up to his word and he is still playing in the NBA and he still puts in maximum effort every single day.
