For the sake of all our waiver wire posts, all players listed are owned in less than 50% of ESPN leagues. If you have a specific question about a WR on your waiver wire or whether or not you should make a move, you can ask always find us at @FansidedFantasy on twitter.  I’ll do my best to answer as many questions as possible as quickly as I can to help you get your roster in the best place it can be as we continue through the season.

Here are the top ten available WR on most leagues’ waiver wires heading into week 5:

14.8% owned. Week 5 @ Eagles. Brian Quick. 1. player. 51. Quick comes off his bye as the top week 5 WR pickup as he resumes his role as the Rams top receiver.  He has huge upside in the Rams offense as their primary deep threat and most often-targeted option in the passing game.  Shaun Hill may return under center for St. Louis, or they may stay with Austin Davis, but either way Quick should be viewed as a solid WR3 that you can start if necessary during your other WR bye weeks.  Quick already has his bye week behind him and he’ll return to fact eh Eagles defense which allows the fourth-most fantasy points per game to opposing WR.

53. Before getting his bye week in week four like Quick, Hawkins ranked eighth in the league in receptions with 21 and was tied for third in targets with 33. Hawkins is a PPR beast and can easily be started in your flex play or as a third WR if you’re league gives out points for catches.  He hasn’t found the end zone yet this year and isn’t a big time red zone threat since he’s a smaller target.  He should be owned in all formats based on the sheer volume of passes Brian Hoyer sends his way,  and Hawkins can be a big help for you through any upcoming bye weeks.. 12.9% owned. Week 5 @ Titans. Andrew Hawkins. 2. player

Royal has put up back-to-back two-touchdown games as he continues to excel as the second WR in Philip Rivers attack. He has been targeted six times or more in each game this season and has become a vital part of the Bolts attack.  This week against the Jets, he’s a very good WR3 play against a secondary that allows the third-most points to opposing WR.  Royal’s numbers the last two weeks are inflated due to his touchdowns, but he’s definitely worth checking on as you hit the waiver wire this week.. 28.2% owned. Week 5 vs Jets. Eddie Royal. 3. player. 13

While not nearly as established as the top two options on the list, Wright suddenly emerged as a fantasy option when the Vikings made the move to go to Teddy Bridgewater at QB.  Even though Wright only played about half the snaps, he was targeted a team-high 10 times hauling in eight catches for 132 yards.  He played a bigger role due to Kyle Rudolph’s absence as the Vikings used more three-wide sets giving him a chance to run with Greg Jennings and Cordarrelle Patterson.  Wright and Bridgewater have been working together on the second unit and obviously have a chemistry that makes Wright an intriguing pickup as long as Bridgewater is able to make the start on Thursday night.  Even if you don’t plug Wright in this week, he has upside this season if he stays this involved in Bridgewater’s aerial attack.. 0.2% owned. Week 5 @ Packers. Jarius Wright. 4. player. 60

1.9% owned. Week 5 vs Steelers. Allen Robinson. 5. player. 52. When the Jags took Allen Robinson in the end of the second round of last year’s draft, not many people thought he would be their #1 receiver, but he has quickly developed into that role since so many of the Jags other options have been sidelined due to injury.  Cecil Shorts is again sidelined with an injury, Marqise Lee can’t stay on the field, and Allen Hurns has been in and out with an ankle issue. In fellow-rookie Blake Bortles first start, Robinson was the most-targeted receiver and finished with five catches for 38 yards.  In his last three games, Robinson has totaled 192 yards and should keep getting looks due to the other receivers lack of durability.  He’s a boom or bust WR4 this week against the Steelers.

One of the more intriguing long-term pickups you can make at WR this week is Marvin Jones.  Jones practiced through the Bengals bye and is expected to make his season debut on Sunday Night Football against New England.  Jones is expected to step right in at the teams second WR spot opposite A.J. Green where he was very effective last season catching 10 touchdowns.  Don’t expect too much out of the gate, but stash him on your roster for depth later and beat the rush to the wire that’s sure to come once Jones gets up to full speed.. 0.9% owned. Week 5 @ Patriots. Marvin Jones. 6. player. 56

48. With Mike Evans sidelined for the next few weeks, Murphy will continue to be the number two receiver for the Bucs.  Last week, he announced his return to the league with six catches for 99 yards as the most-targeted Buccaneer.  Mike Glennon obviously trusts him, and he’ll make an interesting “Hail Mary” play as the Bucs take on the Saints bedraggled secondary in week 5.. 0.0% owned. Week 5 @ Saints. Louis Murphy. 7. player

8. player. 54. Matthews struggled in week 4 along with the rest of the Eagles offense, but he remains the third WR in a productive offense.  He’ll get chances to make plays but expect continued inconsistency until he permanently passes either Riley Cooper or Jeremy Maclin for the top two WR spots.  Matthews is a long-shot play this week against the Rams this week as the Eagles come back home and try to get their offense back in gear.. 14.8 % owned. Week 5 vs Rams. Jordan Matthews

player. 44. Hester has been a consistent part of the Falcons attack this season and finally may have enough staying power to be a regular part of a fantasy team.  He still has the big play potential he’s always had, but he’s less of a bust when he doesn’t rip off a long one in a Falcons offense where he’s emerged as a clear third-WR.  This week isn’t a great matchup for Hester against a suddenly-tough Giants secondary, but he’s someone to monitor going forward.. 16.3% owned. Week 5 @ Giants. Devin Hester. 9

John Brown. 10. player. 32. Don’t forget that before the Cardinals bye week it was John Brown who caught a pair of touchdown passes for Arizona on his way to emerging as a solid third receiver for the Cardinals.  He could be in for a quarterback change back to Carson Palmer which could affect his value, but he still has upside enough to stash if possible to se ehow he fares against the Broncos this week.. 3.9% owned. Week 5 @ Broncos
