Josh McCown remains questionable with that hand injury, but surgery still will not happen. That’s both encouraging and not something anyone in Tampa Bay wants to hear, as McCown has been less than impressive since arriving.
According to Rick Stroud, there has been no change in McCown’s status for this week against new Orleans.
This is actually good news for Bucs fans who are tired of the Josh McCown experiment already. He;s a solid backup and having behind Glennon is peace of mind about the quarterback situation. Then again, the Bucs may have lost some confidence in McCown after the start to this season he’s had.
