By Wes Goldberg
We don’t know if Ray Allen will play in the NBA next season, or for what team he would play for, but we do know he won’t be playing for the Los Angeles Clippers.
According to the Los Angeles Times’ Ben Bolch, Clippers coach Doc Rivers has ruled out signing Allen.

Rivers and Allen obviously have a history after their time in Boston together, but Rivers is right in saying their just simply isn’t enough room for him. With J.J. Redick, Jamal Crawford and newly-signed Chris Douglas-Roberts, their wouldn’t be enough minutes for Allen.
Rivers added that camp invites Joe Ingles and Jared Cunningham are candidates for the final roster spot. Meanwhile, if Allen returns it is believed the Cleveland Cavaliers will be the top candidate to acquire his services. The Washington Wizards are also reportedly interested.
