Tony Romo back at Cowboys practice
By Jordan Pink
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo reportedly returned to practice today after taking wednesdays practice off as a maintenance. Romo along with running back DeMarco Murray has led the Cowboys to a 3-1 start highlighted by Sunday’s 38-17 thrashing of the New Orleans Saints. News of Romo’s return to the lineup is sure to bring a sigh of relief to Cowboys fans.

Through the first four games of the season Romo has posted a 69.5% completion rate and has a quarterback rating of 98.5. Romo has spread the ball around to Dez Bryant, Jason Witten, and Terrance Williams who have been targeted 33, 23, and 20 times respectively. With Bryant facing double coverage more often than not Romo’s ability to spot secondary options has been a huge factor in the Cowboys success.
Romo’s passing and Murray’s rushing have complimented each other this season as opposing defenses have two colossal threats to consider when approaching the line of scrimmage. Keeping Romo healthy is key to the continued success of the Dallas Cowboys who reportedly sit as 33-1 underdogs to win the Super Bowl after starting the season as 66-1 underdogs. If Romo maintains his health and his current form those odds will likely drop even further.
