Teddy Bridgewater will have to wait to get his first crack at primetime NFL action.

More from Green Bay Packers

As expected, The Minnesota Vikings’ 2014 first-round pick is inactive for the team’s Thursday night matchup against the Green Bay Packers.

The Vikings will instead roll with Christian Ponder, who has yet to throw a pass this season, at quarterback. Bridgewater has thrown for 467 yards without a touchdown or interception in two games this year.

Another notable inactive for the game is Packers receiver Jarrett Boykin, whose absence was also expected. Boykin has just two catches for 17 yards this season and has been losing snaps to fellow wideout Davante Adams recently. Boykin was a key contributor for Green Bay last season, catching 49 passes for 681 yards during the year.
