Royals vs Angels live stream information

The Los Angeles Angels are officially on notice. The Kansas City Royals rolled into Anaheim and stole Game 1 of this series on the road, winning in extra innings by a final score of 3-2 thanks to a winning solo home run off the bat of Mike Moustakas.

More from Kansas City Royals

The Royals won the opening game of the series in the same fashion that they have been winning all season. They pitched well, made outstanding plays on defense, and had the bullpen arms to shut down the opposing team in a close game. Even having gone without a hit from the 5th inning all the way until the 11th inning, Kansas City played their kind of game and pulled out a victory in Game 1.

As for the Angels, they will need Mike Trout, Albert Pujols, and the rest of their roster to rebound in a hurry for Game 2. Otherwise the team with the best record in baseball this regular season will find themselves with their backs up against the wall in the ALDS.

Yordano Ventura will start for the Royals. Matt Shoemaker will take the mound for the Angels.
