The benches cleared and the Dodgers players, most notably Adrian Gonzalez, were fired up and not happy. The Dodgers kept their cool. Instead of retaliating and hitting a Cardinals player, they scored six consecutive runs. And it’s not just an ordinary six runs, it’s six runs with the best pitcher in baseball, Clayton Kershaw, on the hill.
Kershaw is dealing right now and he brought his best stuff to the mound Friday night. Unless there is a colossal collapse, it looks like Kershaw will extend his record to 68-0 when getting four or more runs of support. That statistic shows how dominant Kershaw really is.
