College GameDay headed to Mississippi State for Week 7?
We are getting set this weekend for probably the most exciting weekend of college football this season so far. One team, the undefeated Mississippi State Bulldogs, could make a huge statement with a win over the also-undefeated Texas A&M Aggies.

With that being said, while they still have to get through Week 6, they could have something special headed their way in Week 7.
It appears that Starkville is in the lead at the moment to host College GameDay for Week 7 next weekend. Mississippi State has another huge match up next weekend against the defending SEC Champion Auburn Tigers.

The state of Mississippi is getting some serious love from the ESPN crew. This weekend the boys will be in Oxford for the battle between the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Ole Miss Rebels. Mississippi State looks to be next in line.
But this should be surprising to no one, especially given the fact that next weekend’s match up could be the biggest of the weekend.
Mississippi State doesn’t have an easy task this week having to face the Aggies, but Auburn doesn’t have a cake walk this week either, going up against the LSU Tigers, the one team that handed them a regular season loss last year.
Should both somehow come out unscathed this weekend, then the showdown between Mississippi State and Auburn will have huge implications on the landscape of the SEC West.
