Brandon Marshall has played through a nagging ankle injury the last three games with varying degrees of success, but the Chicago Bears wide receiver says he is back and fully healthy heading into Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers.

More from Chicago Bears

“It feels good to go out there and be back with the guys,” Marshall said, per the team’s official website. “After a while you kind of get out of shape a little bit and I feel like I got my wind back and feel more explosive, so it’s good. I can get in and out of my breaks, so it’ll be hard for guys to sit on me.”

Marshall caught three touchdowns three games ago against the San Francisco 49ers when he was a game-time decision for the game, but in the next two games has combined for three catches and 24 yards and one touchdown as the Bears are 1-1 in those games.

A healthy Marshall obviously means good things for a Bears offense looking to get back on track after a pair of Jay Cutler interceptions resulted in the Bears losing last week to the Green Bay Packers.

The Panthers were torched by Steve Smith last week and have given up 38 and 37 points the last two games, so it could be a perfect time for Marshall to show just how healthy he is.
