Kobe Bryant is a future Hall of Famer and a freak of nature on the court — so stop expecting him to do normal people things off it.

It’s 2014, so we fans are used to gross displays of wealth by superstar athletes by now, right? No? Well, get ready for your blood to boil if you hate seeing rich people spend money frivolously, or if you’re just a general hater of NBA superstar Kobe Bryant.

More from Los Angeles Lakers

Bryant, who has spent his entire career in the big city of Los Angeles with the Los Angeles Lakers, probably hates LA traffic more than most residents of the city do, because if there’s one thing fans have learned about Kobe is that Kobe is intense about nearly everything he does, so traffic, which is an inconvenience to most human beings, particularly in the population-dense, vehicle-dense Los Angeles area, must be the absolute devil for Bryant, because time spent in traffic is time wasted, probably. It’s likely better for Kobe than watching Nick Young jack up three pointers, but Bryant probably wants to avoid both traffic and giving Swaggy P the ball.

So naturally, Kobe doesn’t waste time in traffic. No sir, Kobe has gotten so used to the air time with his dunks that he now flies home from Lakes practice. That’s right, flies home. In a plane. To his home, likely in a nearby area of California. Why does Kobe do this? Because Kobe can. Because he’s Kobe freaking Bryant:
