After Speedy Noil came down with an acrobatic touchdown catch from Hill to trim the State lead to 34-17 and give them a sliver of hope for another fourth quarter comeback, Prescott and the Bulldogs drove 75 yards in five plays in 1:25 as Prescott connected with Fred Ross on a 51-yard touchdown.
One game after leading the Bulldogs past the LSU Tigers in Tiger Stadium two Saturdays ago, Prescott has not only thrown himself in the Heisman conversation, but he’s thrust himself in the mix as the best quarterback in the nation with his dual-threat ability.
If State can continue picking up wins in the SEC West behind the arm and feet of Prescott, look out for Prescott to get an invite to the Heisman ceremony in the winter.
