Calvin Johnson is the best player on the Detroit Lions roster, and there was concern that he may miss Week 5 vs. the Buffalo Bills.

Calvin Johnson is one of the deadliest players in the NFL and he’s by far the best player on the Lions roster. But he’s not immune to injury and that’s been a point of concern all week long for Detroit and their fans.

More from Detroit Lions

It’s a big game this week for the Lions as former head coach Jim Schwartz is coming to town and the team needs a win to stay in the NFC North race. Green Bay and Chicago are rising to the top of the division and Detroit needs a win to hang in there.

Getting Calvin Johnson on the field would go a long way in making the offense confident they can win.

Calvin Johnson always gives the Lions their best chance to win. He may not be 100 percent, but a Calvin Johnson operating at 50 percent is still better than most of the receivers in the NFL at full health.
