The Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers slugged it out on Sunday. For Chiefs quarterback Alex Smith it was a chance to exact a bit of vengeance for the 49ers trading him away in favor of Colin Kaepernick.

Smith had the ball and a chance to drive down the field and win the game. It wasn’t meant to be and the threw a pass over the intended target it.

Unfortunately for the Chiefs and Smith, Perrish Cox was able to intercept the ball before it hit the ground to get the game-sealing turnover, ending the Chiefs’ hope of a comeback win.
