It’s been a while since anybody has heard from former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez who currently sits in jail accused of murder.

Occasionally Hernandez will write letters to some of his ‘pen pals’ in effort to give an update on his situation, which you would assume to be rather dire. This is of course a man who says he’s not guilty of such crimes and would presumebly hate prison life, right?
Apparently not as in addition to drawing pictures of naked women (and calling them fat, for good measure), Aaron Hernandez has also been living the high life while locked up. Well, at least according to himself as he states he’s ‘ballin’ while he’s locked up and suggests he loves prison life.
“I’m on the block here lovin’ it. I got my own cell too. I’m out all day only lock in 4 [hours] a day … So we be ballin’.”
As if such a statement wasn’t absurd enough, Aaron Hernandez also spoke about how he passes time which includes reading books. That seems normal enough, though the one-time New England Patriots tight end has been getting deep into the Harry Potter series.
Seriously, you couldn’t even make that up.
It’s completely possible that Aaron Hernandez is attempting to get nothing more than publicity with some of his very strange comments. Still, really, ‘ballin’ in prison? Does he really think anybody is going to believe such nonsense?
Packs of noodles for days, yo.
