Clowney suffered a meniscus injury that required surgery at the beginning of September and he has not returned to the field since.
However, Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network provided some good news for the Texans fan base on Sunday morning, with news that Jadeveon Clowney should be returning to the team before the end of the month.
According to Rapoport, the target date for Clowney’s return is Oct. 20 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Rapoport wrote:
Jadeveon Clowney has been plagued by injuries throughout the first few months of his NFL career, so hopefully he will be able to stay on the field once he makes his return to the team.
