The Cardinals’ defense is obviously the biggest reason for their success but solid play from veteran quarterback Drew Stanton has also played a big part in their success.
However, during Sunday’s game, Drew Stanton left the game to be checked for a concussion. He has been replaced by rookie Logan Thomas. Logan Thomas, who was often criticized at Virginia Tech, silenced critics early on Sunday. Logan Thomas found Andre Ellington on a wheel route with a perfect pass between two defenders.
