De’Mornay Pierson-El returns a punt yards for a score; Nebraska cuts Michigan State’s lead to 27-22
The 10th-ranked Michigan State Spartans had complete control over the 19th-ranked Nebraska Cornhuskers in Saturday night’s Big 10 showdown.

Nebraska, however, wouldn’t die.
Star running back Ameer Abdullah scored two fourth quarter touchdowns. On the following possession, Michigan State was forced to punt. Nebraska receiver De’Mornay Pierson-El fielded the punt and cut back across the field, scoring on a 62-yard return to cut the lead to 27-22 (Nebraska missed a two-point conversion attempt).
