It was yet another home game for the Dallas Cowboys and it was yet another incident of the fans of the away team outnumbering the Cowboys’ fans at AT&T Stadium. Given their opponent this week was the Houston Texans, an in-state rival just a five hour drive away, it isn’t as surprising the opener against the San Francisco 49ers.

At some point the Cowboys brain trust might need to figure out what to do about this trend because they have next to no home-field advantage. Tight end Jason Witten said the Texans fans made it so loud inside AT&T Stadium, the home of the Cowboys, that they had to go to a silent snap count.

This issue with away fans isn’t helping the Cowboys get a better record than 8-8, though they’re 4-1 so far this year.
