Darrelle Revis was considered the game’s best cornerback before his ACL injury with the New York Jets.
After a few struggled, Darrelle Revis looked like the Darrelle Revis of old on Sunday night. During the Patriots’ 43-17 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals, Darrelle Revis did a brilliant job on A.J. Green, one of the game’s best receivers.
However, according to Andrew Brandt of ESPN.com, the Patriots won’t be picking up Darrelle Revis’ option no matter the circumstances.
No matter how well Revis plays, the Patriots aren't picking up his $20 million option next year. Contract year again.

Of course, that doesn’t mean the Patriots won’t re-sign or even extend Darrelle Revis.
Darrelle Revis, who had 50 tackles and two interceptions for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last season, has 17 tackles and one interception this seaon.
