It appears the back-and-forth between Nick Young and Kobe Bryant is back on again after the Los Angeles Lakers guard took a friendly swipe at the franchise icon on Monday morning.

Young, who suffered a torn thumb ligament in practice recently was set to undergo surgery on the injury and before being sedated decided to give a poke to the Black Mamba via his Instagram account.
Ready for his operation, hair net and all, Nick Young posted a picture of himself moments before undergoing the knife with the following caption which seems to playfully suggest it was Kobe Bryant who injured Nick Young.
Of course there was no harm meant in Young’s ‘shot’ at Bryant as the two have been engaging in a friendly war of words for weeks now. Most recently, Bryant seemed to lower the boom upon Nick Young when he suggested Young’s girlfriend, rapper Iggy Azelea had a better career than the Lakers guard so this was likely in reponse to Bryant’s recent diss.
Not to be outdone though, Kobe himself decided to fire back as well as the Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard suggested Nick Young’s injured finger will now force him to move his feet on defense.
Seriously, does Kobe Bryant ever miss an opportunity to not crush the soul of somebody? If he’s not doing it on a basketball court he’s destroying what ego you thought you may have had. Cold as ice, Kobe, cold as ice.
