Roger Federer can’t hit trick shots like Elina Svitolina.

She starts by bouncing her racquet off the baseline with the ball on top, which sends the ball up the the air which can then be hit like a normal serve. It has received the attention of the tennis community, with other players, including Roger Federer and Grigor Dimitrov trying to replicate the impressive shot.

It’s a shot that will have tennis players across the world balancing the ball carefully on their racquet and bouncing it on the court. Even when you’ve got that part down, grabbing the racquet by the handle and having time to execute a full swing is no easy task, as Grigor Dimitrov shows in the last video.

Below you can find the shots from both Elina Svitolina and Roger Federer.

Normally so stylish and assured on court, Federer struggles with the very basics of the trick. He can’t even balance to ball on the handle of his racquet to begin with, which will give hope to every aspiring player out there that Federer is human after all. Maybe it’s not so easy after all.

Grigor Dimitrov, a rising star in men’s tennis, actually completed a very similar trick shot in 2012. His difficulty comes with grabbing the handle and completing the serve. Just watching makes me really want to give it a go. Now all Dimitrov has to do is perform this trick in an actual match and he will earn legendary status:
