When you’re on top you’re going to be the target of those who want your spot. That’s something the Cleveland Cavaliers are becoming well aware of as not only have they traded verbal barbs with the Washington Wizards last week, now it’s the Miami Heat coming after King James’ Cavs.

Ironically enough it’s former LeBron James teammate Dwyane Wade who took a subtle shot at the Cavs suggesting they’re trying to copy what the Miami Heat did during their title runs.
Asked about the Cleveland Cavaliers potentially signing Ray Allen, who also teamed with Dwyane Wade in South Beach, the Miami Heat guard delivered the gut punch.
More Wade on Allen/Cavs prospect: "They're taking what we did here & trying to duplicate it there. That means we did something right here."

Of course, shot or not, there wasn’t really anything that wasn’t true in Wade’s comments. Still, it’s a little odd to see a player like Dwyane Wade, who was such good friends with LeBron James deliver somewhat of a (truthful) low blow.
In terms of Ray Allen possibly signing with the Cleveland Cavaliers, despite Wade suggesting the Cavs attempt to replicate the Miami Heat’s blueprint, the former Marquette star says he wishes Allen well and will always continue to pick his brain when he sees him.
Clearly the Cleveland Cavaliers have went from bottom dweller to one of the most disliked teams in the league in a matter of months. It’s tough playing with a target on your back, though if anybody has shown an ability to do such, it’s LeBron James.
