Although Jeremy Lin has yet to play in a regular season game with Kobe Bryant on the Los Angeles Lakers, the point guard knows when he’s in the presence of greatness.

During Lin’s previous stints with the New York Knicks, the point guard has played with talent like Carmelo Anthony, Dwight Howard and James Harden though says Kobe Bryant has a different level when it comes to his desire to play the game.
Bryant, who is known for his tireless work effort has apparently inspired Jeremy Lin during his short time in Southern California and left the former Harvard talent in awe of his desire to win.
Jeremy Lin played with Melo and James Harden. What sets Kobe apart? "How hard he works and his attention to detail."

While both Carmelo Anthony and James Harden are immensely talented its safe to say neither has the work ethic or desire of Kobe Bryant. That’s not so much of a slight to Anthony or Harden as it is praise to Bryant however as very few players have ever had the work ethic and/or desire of the Los Angeles Lakers icon.
Lin, who will be playing his first season with the Lakers after being acquired in an offseason trade with the Houston Rockets has already suggested Bryant’s desire to win has already rubbed off on him, so it should be interesting to see if the veteran point guard plays better with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Jeremy Lin is set to become a free agent at season end though could still be in the Lakers plans if he’s to play well.
