In a matter of days the New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles will take the field for their first matchup of the season and it appears bulletin board material is being sent both ways.

More from New York Giants

On Monday verbal barbs were exchanged though Tuesday brought an epic troll job by New York Giants players Prince Amukamara and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.

Appearing at what looks to be some type of memorabilia shop, both New York Giants defensive backs posed in a photo with a fan who was wearing a Philadelphia Eagles jersey commemorating their lack of Super Bowl rings. Both players also held up their hand and shaped a ‘zero’ to add insult to injury.

It’s a solid troll job, no doubt, but it seems to be a bit ironic considering it was DRC who was once a member of the Philadelphia Eagles and didn’t exactly make the impact that many had hoped. He also happens to be void of a Super Bowl ring like the team he’s making fun of, though Prince Amukamara can get away with the shot given his prior history.

Probably not what New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin was hoping his players would do on their down time, but it certainly adds a bit more heat to an already intense rivalry.

The Philadelphia Eagles currently sit atop the NFC East as they’re tied with the Dallas Cowboys at 4-1. The New York Giants meanwhile sit at 3-2, though are coming off three straight victories and are one of the hottest teams in the NFL.

Should be a good one on Sunday.
