Both the Chicago Bears and Atlanta Falcons got off to excellent starts this year but have come crashing back down.
The two teams will battle it out at the Georgia Dome on Sunday afternoon. One team will improve to .500 at 3-3 while the loser will fall into a 2-4 hole that is going to be awful difficult to dig out of.
The Chicago Bears’ defense could be in some trouble in this one because of the injuries they have at the linebacker positions. One of their leaders, Lance Briggs is inactive while second-year pro Jon Bostic and former first round Shea McClellin will also miss the game. D.J. Williams is also out.
On the other side, there is good news. The Atlanta Falcons won’t have wide receiver Harry Douglas but both Julio Jones and Devin Hester will be in the lineup. Offensive tackle Jake Matthews is also active.
