LeBron James left the Miami Heat this summer to go back home and play for the Cleveland Cavaliers. LeBron James left a sour taste in Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade’s mouths and he brought joy and rejuvenation to Cleveland.
Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh admitted that they weren’t happy with the way LeBron James left.
Wade and James are still close friends off of the court, but on the court they’re enemies now. After Saturday night’s preseason game between the Cavs and the Heat, the two former teammates shared a bit of an emotional moment together. Watch here as Wade and James embrace after the game.
You could see Wade say to James numerous times ‘I love you’ and that shows that these two still truly care about one another. They won two championships together and made it to 4 NBA Finals in total. No matter what happens, nothing will take that away and those two guys will share that for the rest of their lives.
When James announced that he was returning to Cleveland, it took everyone a little while to realize what just truly happened. Now that James is actually in a Cavaliers uniform once again, the realization that this isn’t a dream is slowly starting to kick in.
This moment between James and Wade is great to see. It’s never good to see two friends holding a grudge against each other, but on the court these two won’t be friends anymore and that is a given. It’s all business and both of these guys know that.
