Outside of the league elite like LeBron James, a few seasons ago you likely couldn’t find a better two-way small forward in the league than the Memphis Grizzlies’ Tayshaun Prince.

Not only could Prince put up impressive offensive numbers but he was a terror on the defensive end thanks to his long arms and athletic ability. Alas, even the best eventually fade and the game of Tayshaun Prince has been dwindling ever since he left the Detroit Pistons.

Given that the Memphis Grizzlies have been attempting to trade the former Kentucky star for most of the offseason though have yet to find much interest in the veteran.

"The Grizzlies made multiple attempts to trade Tayshaun Prince this summer, reports Ronald Tillery of Commercial Appeal. His name was rumored to be on the block at the very beginning of the offseason, but there have been no rumblings for the veteran forward since."

Prince is scheduled to make $7.7 million dollars this upcoming season though is an expiring contract so you’d assume he’d likely hold some value. However the Memphis Grizzlies are likely more interested in obtaining some type of asset in return for Tayshaun Prince, not salary relief, so that could be a reason as to why the team is finding it difficult to move the former All-Star.

A 12-year-veteran, Prince has spent most of his NBA playing career in Motown where he played portions of ten seasons though has spent the last year and a half with the Grizz where he’s been a shell of his former self. Prince is coming off the worst season of his impressive career where he only shot 40 percent and scored just 6 points per game in limited time.

It seems likely the Memphis Grizzlies will still look to trade the forward if they can find a taker.
