Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+3.5) over Baltimore Ravens

Nobody likes Tampa Bay in this spot.

Naturally, I’m taking them.

The Bucs took a huge hit from a national perception standpoint during their 42-point loss to the Atlanta Falcons on national television, but Tampa Bay followed that up with an impressive win over the Pittsburgh Steelers and a close-fought loss to the New Orleans Saints on the road last week. Frankly, the Bucs are a much different (read: better) team with Mike Glennon under center, and with Doug Martin back in the saddle to steady the running game, Tampa is capable of scoring points on a consistent basis.

I would stop short of projecting an outright victory over a Baltimore team that is undoubtedly better, but the Bucs are playing better than you might realize, and they shouldn’t be getting more than a field goal at home.
