Running back Fred Jackson was questionable on the Buffalo Bills’ final injury report Friday, but he is active for Sunday’s showdown with the New England Patriots.

The Buffalo Bills will have running back Fred Jackson available Sunday when they host the New England Patriots in a battle for first place in the AFC East at Ralph Wilson Stadium.

Jackson, who is second on the Bills with 201 rushing yards this season and is their leading receiver with 26 catches, was questionable Friday because of an ankle injury, but he will be in uniform for the divisional showdown.

Both teams come in 3-2 and are coming off victories. Buffalo came back from a 14-0 deficit to win at Detroit last week, 17-14, while the Patriots clubbed the Bengals in prime time last Sunday night, 43-17.

Buffalo, however, won’t have wide receiver Mike Williams, who has eight catches for 142 yards and a touchdown. Williams is a healthy scratch.

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was listed as questionable Friday with an ankle injury, but shockingly (or not, given Bill Belichick’s history with injury reports), Brady will start Sunday.

The complete list of inactives includes:

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

  • CB Brandon Browner (ankle)
  • DT Dominique Easley (shoulder)
  • DB Nate Ebner (finger)
  • G Cameron Fleming (finger)
  • OLB Dont’a Hightower (knee)
  • C Bryan Stork (head)

BUFFALO BILLS

  • RB Bryce Brown
  • CB Ross Cockrell
  • WR Marcus Easley (knee)
  • OLB Randell Johnson
  • T Cyrus Kouandjio
  • FS Aaron Williams (wrist)
