It’s been tough to watch Muhammad Ali make public appearances in the past as the boxing legend continues his fight with Parkinson’s disease, though sadly it appears as if not even one of the greatest boxers of all-time can battle the human body.

According to Muhammad Ali’s brother, the icon is so ill he is struggling to speak.

"Muhammad Ali – once famed for his lightning speed and even faster tongue – is now so ill he can hardly speak, his brother has revealed. The boxing legend, 72, who has been battling debilitating Parkinson’s disease for years, has become increasingly frail and is now largely housebound."

Muhammad Ali’s brother, Rahman was in attendance for the screening of I Am Ali in Hollywood recently where he revealed the heartbreaking news.

“He doesn’t speak too well. But he is proud that we are here for him. He has given this film his blessing.”

The upcoming film is about the family life of Muhammad Ali and was based off of his audio journals. The boxing legend has yet to see the film though his daughter Maryum Ali says she’s excited for her father to watch the the movie .

“He has not seen the film yet, but I am very excited for him to see it.

“He is going to love it. I know he is. He is going to cry, he is going to laugh. He will be very proud.”

You may recall back in January Muhammad Ali’s son, Ali Jnr, believed there was little chance for his father to make it through the year so it appears the iconic boxer isn’t going to go down without one last impressive fight.
