Believe It Or Not, Nate Robinson Practices This Shot (VIDEO)

Nate Robinson is my least favorite NBA player. I take that back. He’s my favorite.

Nate Robinson: Oh, where do I begin?
It truly is a skill to make someone absolutely hate you, then fall in love with you within 24 seconds. That’s a skill that Robinson has. And possibly Seth MacFarlane.
In the Denver Nuggets preseason game against the Chicago Bulls, the Nuggets were running out of time on the shot clock when center Jusuf Nurkic found himself with the ball. Like a piping hot potato, Nurkic ran the only play you can run with 2.3 seconds left on the shot clock. PASS IT TO NATE!
According to Tommy Beer, Nate practices this shot before games. I mean, I can’t even. That’s the same shot I practice in my drive way, when preparing for a game of HORSE against my cousin. I swear to God, I’ve made that before. But this isn’t about me, this is about Notorious Nate, who seems to be better at making stupid shots like this than actual good looks.
Think about it, if you’re a fan of a team playing Nate’s team in the playoffs, the last thing you want is for him to get the ball with 2.3 seconds left. You’re only hope at that point is that whatever ringling-brothers-barnum-and-bailey shot he makes is worth two points and not three.
Or maybe if he practiced real shots instead of these he would be able to hold down a spot on a roster for more than two seasons.
