The World Series match-up is set for the 2014 season, but did the New York Mets predict the two teams this past June?
The San Francisco Giants and the Kansas City Royals will meet in the 2014 World Series. While both teams were solid this season, they were fighting for their respective playoff spots as late as the final week of the season. It was a World Series match-up that few people could have predicted.

Maybe the sharks and analysts did not make this prediction, but did the New York Mets know it was coming all along? That just might be the case. In fact, through the wonders of throwback uniforms, it seems clear that the Mets knew that it was going to be the Royals and Giants dating back to this past June.
