According to Mary Kay Cabot from the Cleveland Plain Dealer, the Browns have officially placed center Alex Mack on injured reserve which will end his season.
Mack recently inked a long-term deal with the Browns and will remain a pillar on their offensive line for years to come. But this seems to be the way of the Browns, as just when things get going something bad happens. Last year the team started to look halfway decent before Brian Hoyer’s ACL blew out and the season went with it.
Mack is a huge part of the Browns offense and while it’s hard to say their season is over, it’s not hard to imagine this setback being something a young team can’t overcome.
