Fans of the Florida State Seminoles aren’t very happy about the way the media has treated quarterback Jameis Winston, specifically ESPN, and they are making that known.

Florida State Seminoles’ quarterback Jameis Winston has been the biggest story in college football for the better part of two seasons for his fantastic play on the field and his poor decision-making off of it.
Although Jameis Winston was never charged with a crime after he was investigated for sexual assault, some fans and media don’t seem very accepting of that.
He continues to make poor decisions and was even suspended for Florida State’s 23-17 overtime victory over the Clemson Tigers after screaming obscenities in the student union.
Seemingly everyone has turned on him and many in the media have gone on to bash. In fact, ESPN’s Zubin Mehenti trashed both Winston and head coach Jimbo Fisher, calling Winston “dumb,” a “moron,” “inarticulate” and a “criminal” in a rant that seemed at least partially racially based.
Florida State Seminoles’ fans have apparently had enough and some even tried to organize a boycott of ESPN’s College GameDay, which will be in Tallahassee Saturday for the second-ranked Seminoles’ huge showdown with the fifth-ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish in what may be the most hyped college football game of the year.
If Friday’s episode of College Football Live was any indication, Florida State Seminoles’ fans will be at GameDay and they will be ready to troll. Fans showed up with signs that clam ESPN is on witch hunt.

Not bad, but it will take a lot to top the Manti Te’o sign that was put up earlier in the week.
