Currently the Dallas Cowboys sit tied with the Philadelphia Eagles for the best record in the NFL. Given that, you’d think they’d bring in one of the top musical talents in the industry for their Thanksgiving Day game against the aforementioned Eagles.
Alas, that won’t be happening (unless you’re a big fan of uptemo pop beats mixed with ‘rap’) as Pitbull will be bringing his talents to Jerry’s World.
In addition to rocking the crowd, Pitbull will be taking part in The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign.
“In order to become an iconic brand, you have to deal with one,” said Pitbull. “It’s a true honor to partner with the Dallas Cowboys on such a special day as Thanksgiving. It’s even more special to kick off The Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign, daleee!”
It’s perfecting timing for Pitbull as he’s set to release his eighth studio album just days after his Thanksgiving Day performance and should see a spike in record sales because of it. The increase in money performers experience is one of the reasons the NFL was said to be experimenting with the ‘pay to play’ idea at the Super Bowl.
That of course didn’t go over very well and while performing at a Dallas Cowboys game isn’t exactly a replication of a Super Bowl performance, it’s something to make note of for Pitbull.
Hopefully the game between the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles is as exciting as Pitbull’s performance as while he’s a bit suspect of a rapper, he’s known to put on an impressive show.
