As a quarterback you never want to see a teammate go down with an injury, especially an offensive lineman considering they keep you from being injured.
Sadly St. Louis Rams quarterback Austin Davis had to witness one of his protectors go down on Sunday afternoon against the Seattle Seahawks and the entire situation unfolded right before his eyes.
Davis was seen standing next to the injured offensive lineman and talking to him as he laid on the ground, clearly in pain. Perhaps angry that the St. Louis Rams medical team was not on the field yet, Davis could be seen pumping his fist (possibly in frustration/anger?) as members of the medical staff entered the camera view.
As if that reaction wasn’t odd enough, Davis then took a step back to his lineman as if he was going to say something else/help but then quickly waved himself off once the medical staff was assisting his teammate.
Certainly wasn’t the typical reaction one would expect with an injured player on the field. Perhaps Austin Davis was upset with the play that took his lineman out and was mouthing something in regard to the Seattle Seahawks?
