The
have the 32nd-ranked rushing attack in the NFL and will be without free-agent acquisition Toby Gerhart at running back again on Sunday when they host the
at EverBank Field. Gerhart is one of the Jaguars’ inactives.
Gerhart has been banged up since Week 1, but is missing just his second game, this time because of a foot injury. He leads the Jags with 123 yards on 48 carries and he has one of the team’s two rushing touchdowns this season.
With Gerhart out, former Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson will start. He has 94 yards on 28 carries in six games and has caught 11 passes for 37 yards.
Part of Jacksonville’s issues in the running game is being behind all the time—they are 0-6, after all—but the Jags are averaging just 69.5 yards per game on the ground.
Cleveland running back Ben Tate is active with a finger injury.
