Jacksonville Jaguars running back Denard Robinson took his 20th carry of the game in for an eight-yard touchdown.
The Jacksonville Jaguars have been desperately searching for a ground game all season long, and they were finally able to find it this afternoon against the Cleveland Browns. Former Michigan Wolverines quarterback Denard Robinson has carried the football 20 times for 111 yards and a touchdown so far today, and there is still more time left in the game. He has likely taken over the starting role with this performance.

Robinson’s touchdown was a very impressive piece of work, and he showed a lot of heart and effort to get into the end zone. Jacksonville believes that Blake Bortles is their quarterback of the future, and perhaps now they have found the running back to go alongside of him. There are still some things for Robinson to prove before he gets too much credit, but this was a great game against the Browns.
Jacksonville hadn’t seen this type of potential from Robinson throughout his career to this point, but he hadn’t really received a real chance until this week. Coming into this game, Robinson had totaled 48 carries for 160 yards. This is certainly a major positive for the Jaguars, and they are going to come away with a big win thanks in large part to the ground game that they were able to find.
